This design is a devotional work symbolising an attribute of water. “Nymphaea” is a female water spirit and represents an elemental energy which is beauty and the magic of life. The Lotus is an ancient symbol which represents rebirth and the soul. Its interesting that many artists, eg Monet and Rouseau, have depicted this beautiful flower in their work. Our waterhole is the home of a deep pink species
